Building and sailing the Journeyman 60

  • Just a short notice to say we are leaving Västervik at 20:30 and heading for Stockholm. I don’t know if we’ll try sailing or not, we’ll see what we feel like.

  • In the picture below, the keen viewer will notice that there is a spreader missing… It was damaged by a falling furler swivel during the hoisting of the mast. Hopefully the Marström team will be able to repair it over…

  • Unfortunately we are STILL waiting to get the mast put on. Seems to be taking forever… Everything is waiting next to the boat.

  • This afternoon we finally took the mast the short trip down to the dock where it will be lifted in place. Hopefully this will happen on Thursday morning!

  • Not much happening in Västervik today. I spent the day catching up on paperwork. But I also got some images off my camera, so I thought I’d post a few from the night transport and early morning launch last week.
