We tried in vain to get into the SRS class in Gotland Runt. Unfortunately the race commitee has decided on a maximum SRS rating of 1.5 for the class, so we were not allowed. First time I have been told I can’t participate because the boat is too fast ;-)
So the only alternative was to get into the IRC Endorsed class. This is a much more complex (and expensive) class to get a rating in. Among other things we have to weigh the empty boat, which we will do on Tuesday.
Four people working a very long sunday will hopefully be enough to get all stuff out, all tanks emptied and the sails off again….
