Let’s start by introducing the new and exciting hull design, created in cooperation with Gabriel Heyman:
This hull is based on results from several years of research by Gabriel, working together with SSPA (“Svenska Skeppsprovningsanstalten”) in Gothenburg and the Marine Technology department at Chalmers University of Technology. It is optimized for upwind sailing in rough waters, and features an extremely narrow bow and an equally extreme aftwards position of the centre of boyancy.
