So after a few days of really nice weather the paint job is now ready. I use about 5 hours to do one coat of paint. Makes you feel quite whacked after working with your arms above your head for 5 hours.
I’m a bit surprised by the change in looks caused by the 15 cm higher waterline. The boat looks heavier and lower… We’ll see how it turns out in the water.
(By the way, for those of you who know your classic Antarctic sailing yachts, that’s “Pelagic”, Skip Novak’s first boat, sticking its bow in at the right edge).
