Are you bringing a portable compressor so you can do some surface trimming if you get scratches? I guess you will have plenty of sand in some of the places you will visit!
Actually one of the advantages of a sandblasted surface is that smaller scratches and damages do not show very much! As the metal oxidizes the surface grows darker and more matte. Takes a year in the Baltic, quicker in real seas…
